SHAH ALAM, Nov 1 — A RM500 cash prize will be offered to 15 lucky visitors daily at the Selangor International Book Fair (SIBF) 2024.
The Selangor Public Library Corporation (PPAS) said that with a RM30 minimum purchase, visitors are eligible to enter the lucky draw.
SIBF 2024 will take place from November 27 to December 3 at Hall 1 and 2 of the Setia City Convention Centre, from 9am to 10pm.
“The winners will be announced at 6.30pm and 8.30pm. With a RM30 purchase, one is eligible to win RM500 in cash,” it said in a Facebook post.
Previously, PPAS Director Datin Paduka Mastura Muhamad said SIBF 2024 will feature over 400 booths with a variety of engaging activities, including discussions with national literary figures, colouring activities, drawing sessions, and lucky draws.
Over 300,000 visitors are expected to attend the seven-day event, which will also include exhibitors, publishers, authors, and book industry players from various international locations including China, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The Selangor Education Summit will also be held during SIBF 2024 to support the Technical and Vocational Education and Training agenda, as well as to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
First organised in 2022, SIBF is a continuation of the Selangor Book Fair, which has been held annually since 2006.
