SHAH ALAM, Oct 8 — Over 1,000 jobs will be available at the JobCare Carnival in Kuala Selangor on October 19.
State executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication V. Papparaidu said the event will be held at the Kuala Selangor Municipal Council Hall, Puncak Alam, from 9am to 4pm that day.
“Open to all jobseekers. Activities that will be held include open interviews, career counselling, and exhibitions by agencies.
“Attendees must bring their résumés and relevant supporting documents for the interviews that day,” he said in a statement.
Interested candidates can fill out a form online as early notice of their attendance.
Earlier, Papparaidu said 634 JobCare Carnival participants in six districts have gained jobs since the event kicked off in June.
He added that of the total, 168 participants gained employment through the latest edition of the career fair at Dewan Hamzah, Klang, on October 5.
Six JobCare Carnival editions have been held thus far — Hulu Selangor on June 29, Petaling Jaya on July 17, Kuala Langat on August 17, Gombak on September 21, and Klang on October 5.
After the Kuala Selangor edition, the event will continue in Sepang at the Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi Community Hall on November 16, and in Sabak Bernam at Dewan Tun Razak on December 14.
