KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 30 — Several main roads around Kuala Kubu Bharu town near here will be fully closed from tomorrow night until Wednesday for the fourth stage of Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2024.
Hulu Selangor district police chief Supt Ahmad Faizal Tahrim said the roads, which will be closed from 9pm tomorrow until 1pm on Wednesday, include the flag-off location in Kuala Kubu Bharu town.
Others affected are Jalan Kamaruddin, Jalan Raja Muda Jaafar, Jalan Rasathurai, Jalan Mat Kilau, Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Masjid Kuala Kubu Bharu junction, Jalan Abdul Hamid, Simpang Tiga Kampung Napi, the Dataran KKB traffic light junction and Jalan Pahang.
“The road closures will be controlled by the police and Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) staff to ensure that traffic flow remains smooth throughout the event.
“Motorists are advised to plan their journeys or to leave for their destinations earlier to avoid being stuck during the closures,” he said in a statement today.
