SHAH ALAM, Sept 25 – Twenty entrepreneurs from Selangor have been chosen to showcase their products at the 21st China-Asean Expo (CAEXPO) in Nanning, China.
State executive councillor for youth, sports and entrepreneur Mohd Najwan Halimi said those chosen have the opportunity to present their products to international markets, with the support of the Selangor State Executive Committee on Entrepreneurship and the Selangor State Development Corporation.
“The selected entrepreneurs are expected to seize opportunities to introduce their products to the Chinese market while exploring regional export potential,” he said in a post on X today.
Najwan added that the expo will open doors for entrepreneurs to connect with potential investors, distributors and partners across the Asean region.
The expo, one of China’s largest trade platforms, aims to foster trade, investment and tourism ties between China and Asean countries.
Najwan is currently leading the Selangor delegation on a working visit to CAEXPO.
This year’s CAEXPO attracted a wide range of industries, with a focus on sectors such as agriculture, technology, tourism and consumer goods, offering diverse opportunities for participating entrepreneurs to explore.
