GOMBAK, Sept 23 — The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) seized nine business premises linked to Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings (GISBH) in Rawang on Saturday for operating without licence.
Its president Shahman Jalaludin said the local council is conducting ongoing enforcement operations to identify and act against premises operating without a valid business licences.
“The MPS, in collaboration with the Security and Enforcement Department, Licensing Department, and Development Department, with assistance from the police, conducted a raid on premises in Bandar Country Homes on Saturday.
“During the operation, MPS seized nine unlicensed premises owned by GISBH and demolished several illegal structures.
“The seized premises were used as restaurants and laundries. Additionally, 17 licenced businesses in Rawang and Bandar Baru Selayang were inspected, but all were found to be vacant,” he said during a press conference at Menara MPS, adding that MPS will not tolerate any violations of the law or regulations.
“MPS is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment within its administrative area.”
