SHAH ALAM, Sept 17 — The Klang District Disaster Operations Centre (DDOC) has issued a tidal and rainfall schedule following the occurrence of the high tide phenomenon, predicted to start today until Saturday (September 21).
According to an infographic on the Klang District and Land Office's Facebook page today, the highest water level reading is expected to reach 5.8 metres at 7.23am on Friday (September 20), along with thunderstorms in some areas.
Tomorrow, the sea level reading is forecasted to be at 5.5 metres at 6.08am, while in the afternoon, it is expected to reach 5.2 metres, both with thunderstorms predicted.
For Thursday (September 19), the sea level reading is forecasted to be 5.7 metres at 6.47am with rain, while at 6.59pm, it is expected to reach 5.2 metres with no rain forecasted.
Friday's prediction indicates the water level will be at 5.2 metres at 7.36pm, with the weather expected to be clear at that time.
On Saturday, the sea level reading is predicted to be 5.6 metres at 7.56am, and the water level is expected to reach five metres at 8.11pm, with the weather forecasted to be clear throughout the day.
