SHAH ALAM, Sept 13 — The three-day Selangor Entrepreneur Expo (Selbiz) 2024 beginning October 4, organised by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is expected to generate RM2 million in potential transaction value.
PKNS entrepreneur development manager Yuzawati Yusof is optimistic that the target can be achieved with the participation of over 200 exhibitors from various industries and an expected 45,000 visitors.
“We aim to achieve RM2 million in sales transactions with the strength of our vendors and exhibitors, including those from Indonesia,” she said during the Hai Selangor talk show on SelangorTV yesterday.
With the theme 'Melangkah Lebih Jauh' (Moving Further), Yuzawati is confident that Selbiz 2024 will further expand the business market for participating entrepreneurs and contribute to the state’s economy.
“Selbiz aims to be the premier platform for all entrepreneurs to promote their products and businesses under one roof, enhancing business networking both in terms of business-to-customer and business-to-business interactions.
“We hope Selbiz 2024 will also provide added satisfaction to all entrepreneurs and visitors,” she said.
According to Yuzawati, this year's Selbiz will offer a variety of exciting activities for visitors, including free health screening, a meet-and-greet session with Selangor FC players, magic show, mini zoo and skateboarding competition.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy performances by popular artists such as Hael Husaini, Syamel, Akim Majistret, Sarah Suhairi and 6ixth Sense.
