KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 23 — The body of a man who went missing while bathing with his friends in Sungai Kedondong, Batang Kali, Kuala Kubu Baharu at 12pm today has been found.
Kuala Kubu Baharu Fire and Rescue station operations commander Asst Fire Supt Wan Muhammad Aslam Md Asri said the victim, 24, had gone with three of his friends to the location for recreational purposes.
“The rescue team discovered the victim’s body at a depth of two metres at 12.50pm and sent the body to the Kuala Kubu Baharu Hospital for autopsy,” he said when contacted.
Meanwhile Hulu Selangor district police chief Supt Ahmad Faizal Tahrim confirmed the victim’s death, adding that it has been classified as a sudden death.
The authorities have yet to release the victim's identity.
