SHAH ALAM, Aug 16 — More than 4,000 job vacancies will be offered at the Hulu Langat district level of the 2024 Selangor Jobcare tour carnival tomorrow.
State executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication V. Papparaidu said the programme will take place at Dewan Perbandaran Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya in Pandan Indah from 9am to 4pm.
“It is open to all job seekers. Among the activities that will be held include open interviews, career counselling, agency exhibitions, entrepreneur sales, and free health screenings.
“Candidates are required to bring their resumes and relevant supporting documents on the interview day,” he said in a Facebook post today.
Job hunters can fill in the registration form online for prior notification of attendance confirmation.
Previously, Papparaidu said that around 35,000 job opportunities were offered during the Selangor JobCare tour, held across nine districts.
Three districts have since been visited: Hulu Selangor on June 29, Petaling Jaya (July 17), and Kuala Langat (August 10).
The programme will continue at Dewan Beringin Taman Seri Gombak (September 21), Dewan Hamzah Klang (October 5), and Dewan Dato’ Penggawa Permatang in Kuala Selangor (October 19).
Other locations include Dewan Komuniti Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi in Sepang (November 16), and Dewan Tun Razak in Sabak Bernam (December 14).
