SHAH ALAM, Aug 12 – Three JobCare Selangor roadshows have facilitated the immediate employment of 276 individuals from June.
Selangor Worker Empowerment Unit operations officer B. Anbarasu said the roadshow in Petaling was the most successful, with 153 people hired.
“The JobCare roadshow in Hulu Selangor saw 91 individuals employed, and in Kuala Langat, 32 were selected.
“Through these three roadshows, nearly 800 candidates are expected to be called for second interviews. So far, the response has been very encouraging,” he said when contacted.
Anbarasu invited jobseekers to attend the Hulu Langat JobCare roadshow at the MPAJ Municipal Hall on Saturday.
“Those interested can bring their résumés to the event held from 9am to 4pm,” he added.

Previously, state executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication V. Papparaidu announced that approximately 35,000 job opportunities would be available at the JobCare Selangor roadshow across nine districts.
The fair was held in Hulu Selangor on June 29, Petaling Jaya on July 17, and Kuala Langat on August 10.
Upcoming JobCare Selangor roadshows are as follows:
— August 17: MPAJ Municipal Hall
— September 21: Dewan Beringin Taman Seri Gombak
— October 5: Dewan Hamzah Klang
— October 19: Dewan Dato’ Penggawa Permatang, Kuala Selangor
— November 16: Dewan Komuniti Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sepang
— December 14: Dewan Tun Razak, Sabak Bernam
