SHAH ALAM, Aug 9 — Several damaged roads and traffic lights were repaired by state road maintenance company Infrasel Sdn Bhd within 24 hours of receiving public complaints on X (formerly Twitter).

It said the resurfacing works on damaged roads were completed along Jalan Khamis and Jalan Belimbing in Meru, Klang, on Monday (August 5) and on last Friday (August 2).

The damaged roads along Jalan 2D and 4D Kampung Baru Subang were similarly repaired on July 24, as well as the damaged traffic lights at Kota Warisan Sepang on last Friday.

“Continue to make complaints by posting on X with the hashtags #INFRASEL #RoadName #District,” Infrasel said on X.

The company has been tasked with maintaining state roads under the supervision of the Selangor Public Works Department for users' comfort.

Previously, state executive councillor for agriculture and infrastructure Izham Hashim said the Mega Road Resurfacing Project will continue this year with a RM20 million allocation to ensure Selangor's roads are in good condition, thereby guaranteeing users' safety.

Via an additional allocation from the Malaysian Road Records Information System (Marris), the project involves all routes, including state roads, those under the purview of the local authorities, and villages.
