SHAH ALAM, July 29 — Twelve areas logged caution-level temperatures today.
The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) in a Facebook post at 6am today said districts recording Level 1 hot weather were Larut and Matang in Perak, Kuala Muda in Kedah, Kuala Krai in Kelantan, Beaufort in Sabah, and Kuching, Sri Aman, Lubok Antu, Kapit, Sibu, Miri, Telang Usan and Marudi in Sarawak.
“Level 1, or caution-level, hot weather is determined by daily temperatures of between 35 and 37°C for at least three consecutive days.
“For the latest updates, refer to the (MetMalaysia) website,” it said.
