KUALA LUMPUR, July 19 — The public will have the opportunity to access free laptop and desktop loan schemes during National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang 2024 launch ceremony, which will be held at the Cyber Event Hall in Cyberjaya this Sunday (July 21).
According to a notice on the Merdeka 360 website, this scheme is one of 21 programmes scheduled for the event, which runs from 9am to 4.30pm.
Other programmes include the flag-off of the 2024 Kembara Merdeka Jalur Gemilang convoy, an independence exhibition, the Agro Madani Combo Sale, a promotion of Universiti Teknologi Mara Distance Learning Programme, the Kids Tech Centre and Urban Farm Tech Exhibitions, and traffic summons discount of up to 50 per cent.
Those with singing talents are invited to take part in the Bintang Patriotik competition, which will be held at the Pentas Seni (food truck area) at the same venue.
Additionally, the public can purchase essential goods at affordable prices through the Ehsan Rahmah Madani Sales programme, including chicken, fish, meat, eggs, five-kilogramme bottled cooking oil, and rice.
To facilitate visitor movement, free shuttle bus services will be provided, with pickup points at Park & Ride Cyberjaya and Parking Rekaspace Cyberjaya, as well as drop-off at the Cyber Event Hall.
“The frequency of the buses will be every 30 minutes, depending on traffic, from 8am to 5.30pm,” according to the notice.
