SHAH ALAM, June 12 — Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah today presented state awards to 165 recipients from Petaling and Klang.
The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the 78th birthday of the Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Also present at the ceremony held at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Abdul Aziz, at the Selangor State Secretariat Building, was state secretary Datuk Haris Kasim and state executive councillors.
At the ceremony, Selangor Referees Association chairman Mohd Zubir Muhamad Shari was awarded with the Pingat Kecemerlangan Sukan Selangor, while 13 others were accorded the Pingat Pekerti Terpilih.
Forty people received the Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang Selangor, 101 accepted the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian, and 10 others received the Pingat Perkhidmatan Selangor.
