KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 — Badminton fans can watch Malaysia battle it out against China in the Thomas Cup semi-finals, which will be shown on 15 big screens across the country tomorrow.
Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh invited the public to watch the 5pm tournament.
“Come out and cheer on our boys this Saturday!” she said on her Facebook page.
Yesterday, Malaysia advanced to the semi-finals of the Thomas Cup for the first time in eight years when the team defeated former champion Japan 3-1 at the Chengdu Hi-Tech Zone Sports Centre Gymnasium in China.
Malaysia faces China in the semi-finals after the hosts defeated defending champions India 3-1 yesterday.
