SHAH ALAM, Jan 13 — The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) is offering a RM10,000 cash reward in the Petaling Jaya smart bus stop design competition.
In a Facebook post yesterday, it said the competition is open to all Malaysian citizens, whether individuals or organisations.
The participation requirements include the design having a unique concept based on existing bus stop components and supported by explanatory text, cost estimates, and smart elements.
The submitted designs must also be original, environmentally friendly, inclusive for disabled persons, reflective of Petaling Jaya's urban identity, and should not include sensitive elements which touch on religion, race, and politics.
The supporting documents can be submitted via email to [email protected] before the deadline at 5pm on January 31.
