SHAH ALAM, Nov 29 — GM Klang Wholesale City, as the tourism ambassador for the town of Klang, will collaborate with Tourism Selangor in an integrated effort to boost the local tourism industry through the 'Fiesta Pusing Selangor Dulu' programme.
The programme, which is a continuation of the 'Nak Bercuti? Pusing Selangor Dulu!' campaign series by Tourism Selangor will take place on December 9 and December 10 at the Atrium, Ground Floor, of GM Klang Wholesale City.
GM Klang Senior Brand Communication Manager Norsuhaida Othman said that coinciding with the school holidays, the programme is an ideal family-friendly event offering the best opportunities for families to plan their vacations.
“To further enhance the excitement of the public throughout the event, lucky draws with opportunities to win attractive prizes will be held, in addition to stage activities that provide opportunities for operators to promote their sales through auctions, demonstrations, and giveaways," she said in a statement today.
A total of 15 tourism product operators from Selangor will be involved in the programme, including Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie, Sky Mirror Tour and Travel Sdn Bhd, Chocolate Museum, Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel, Selangor Fruit Valley, and Rumah Hutan Terapi Alam.
In addition, Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Premiere Hotel, Hotel Tenera Bangi, Heritaste Jenjarom, Pertubuhan Kembara Anak Seni Selangor (PKAS), Chemilan, GL Play, I-City Theme Park, and the Klang Municipal (MPK) will also participate.
