AMPANG JAYA, July 24 — The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) has implemented 33 road and infrastructure improvement projects this year, under the Malaysian Road Records Information System's (Marris) allocation.

Council President Ani Ahmad said the RM17 million allocation will be used for projects like road repairs, road-paving, and infrastructural facilities including drainage and street lighting.

"As of July, 33 projects have been carried out using the Marris allocation, and some of them have already been completed," she said when met.

Some of the projects carried out include the restoration of drainage and road-paving near SJK(C) On Pong in Mukim Ampang, and road-paving along Jalan Kosas 2 in Taman Kosas.

Repair works were also conducted on Jalan Pandan Bersih, Kampung Pandan, Jalan Pandan Indah 1 to 8, and Jalan Bunga Melur 4, in Taman Ampang Indah.

Ani was speaking at the inauguration of the Rumah Pangsa AU2 community garden at Taman Keramat yesterday.

She was accompanied by the Selangor Department of Agriculture deputy director of agriculture Beverlien Christine, and Rukun Tetangga Rumah Pangsa AU2 chairman Halim Mohamad Said.
