SHAH ALAM, July 5 — Free health screenings and recycling campaigns are among the programmes for the public when the Sepang Municipal Council (MPSepang) holds its Car-Free Day this Saturday (July 8).
Scheduled to take place at Persiaran Semarak Api in Cyberjaya, the event will run from 7am to 12pm and will also feature recreational activities including a fun walk, fun ride, fitness dances, and the Soopa Doopa game.
"Other activities awaiting visitors include a parrot exhibition, table games, a giant bubble show, a dengue exhibition, and food sales.
"The recycling awareness campaign will also be carried out, with a recycling buy-sell counter present," the council said in a Facebook post today.
MPSepang's Car-Free Day will also see participation from the Sepang Land District Office, the Sepang District Social Welfare Office, the Sepang District Information Office, the Sepang District Public Works Department (JKR), and the Selangor State Secretary's Office.
