PORT DICKSON, Jan 7 — The state government has identified another historical tomb to be upgraded in Bukit Melawati, Kuala Selangor.

State executive councillor for culture and heritage Borhan Aman Shah said the Selangor Malay Customs and Heritage Corporation (Padat) is currently carrying out a study to that end, before presenting it to His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj.

"In Selangor, there is another (tomb to be upgraded) at Bukit Melawati. We have asked Padat to do a study and will present it to the Sultan of Selangor.

"Anything involving royal genealogy requires His Royal Highness' consent, the same goes when publishing a history book related to the subject. We cannot do it without the Sultan's blessings," he said.

Borhan was speaking at the handover ceremony of the project to upgrade Makam Almarhum Raja Hassan Almarhum Raja Muda Nala at Kampung Chuah in Lukut yesterday.

Meanwhile, he said the state government will also launch a traditional games museum at the same location later this month.

"The museum will be officially opened at the end of this month, InsyaAllah," Borhan said.
