MBSJ offers free bulk garbage collection for Chinese New Year

SUBANG JAYA, Jan 6 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is offering free bulk garbage collection services to residents for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations.

The collection service for terrace housing areas will be carried out by KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM) over a 15-day period, running from January 7 to January 21.

Subang Jaya Mayor Datuk Johary Anuar said the collection categories in all areas under MBSJ's jurisdiction include mattresses and old furniture.

"Items that are in this bulk garbage collection service include house remodelling material and waste from the moving process, electrical goods, as well as recyclables.

"Priority will be given to residents in MBSJ areas who are celebrating Chinese New Year,"

Applications for bulk garbage collection services began yesterday and will run until January 13, by contacting KDEBWM at 03-80814437 or on WhatsApp at 011-35584437.

Applicants will be contacted to set a collection date and will be required to place their respective bulk garbage in front of the house on said date.
