GOMBAK, Dec 12 — Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari went down to the ground to visit Gombak residents and inspect several areas around three state constituencies under the Federal constituency earlier today.

The tour began at the Selayang Baru morning market, where he was accompanied by Gombak District Officer Nor Azlina Abdul Aziz. Amirudin spoke at length with traders and inspected the market's irrigation channels.

This was followed by a breakfast with the local community in Kampung Nakhoda, after which he headed to the site of the landslide incident in Kampung Sungai Pusu, where a resident's home was affected sometime at midnight last night.

Later in the day Amirudin, who is also the Sungai Tua state assemblyman, is scheduled to attend a ceremony with Pakatan Harapan's machinery, alongside several lighthearted programmes with local residents.

During the 15th general election on November 19, the Menteri Besar manage to win the Gombak seat from its three-term incumbent Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, with a majority of 12,729 votes.
