SHAH ALAM, Nov 3 — Selangor Pakatan Harapan (PH) has projected an easy win for the parliamentary seats in the central and southern parts of the state in the 15th general election (GE15).
However, Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Mohamad Sabu said the coalition may face a tough challenge to capture the seats in northern Selangor.
The seats in northern Selangor include Kuala Selangor, Tanjong Karang, Sungai Besar and Sabak Bernam.

“We know the distribution of votes and chances of victories are not balanced. There are areas where we foresee easy wins, especially in central and southern Selangor.
“We will face a tough challenge in northern Selangor. Therefore, we need to balance out our resources, finances and efforts to help the candidates contesting in the north to win in the upcoming election,” Mohamad Sabu said at an event introducing the PH candidates contesting for the Selangor parliamentary seats, at Dewan Raja Muda Musa, here last night.
The Kota Raja incumbent MP also said that the coalition is determined to return the people’s mandate.
The former federal minister also reminded all parliamentary candidates in Selangor to avoid corruption, abuse of power and nepotism.
“Therefore, to be a candidate and (to) win, we must all shoulder the responsibilities of safeguarding the people and freeing (the country) from the clutches of suffering, especially in regards to the current economy,” he said.
