SHAH ALAM, Feb 16 — The Selangor Fruit Valley (SFV) in Bestari Jaya, Kuala Selangor is closed for three days starting today to allow sanitation work to be carried out.

The agro-tourism centre informed that the step was taken following the significant spike in Covid-19 cases recently.

"SFV is very concerned about the pandemic development which is now on the rise.

"Therefore, SFV has taken precautionary measures by sanitising its entire area," it said in a statement on Facebook.

The centre will resume normal operations this Saturday (February 19).

Spanned across nearly 1,000 hectares of land, SFV features 20 fruits, including starfruits, durian, mango, guava, jackfruit, pulasan and grapes.

It is also the home to 3,000 stingless beehives (kelulut), making it the biggest honey farm in Peninsular Malaysia.
