CHERAS, Jan 10 — Excess of unused parking coupons can be redeemed at the local council offices in Selangor from March onwards.
State executive councillor for local government Ng Sze Han said the total amount of the coupons that are not used would be credited into the Smart Selangor Parking (SSP) application.
“The redeem process will be informed later and would need to be done at the local council offices.
“As of now, the feedback we received on the use of the e-coupons have been good due to the pandemic, and for those who have yet to use their parking coupons, we urge to use it up,” he said.
The Selangor is phasing out the use of parking coupons and has enforced e-coupons via its SSP app, which is available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
The public is allowed to use the parking coupons until March.
