SHAH ALAM, Nov 19 — The SELangkah (Step In, Safely) mobile application has introduced a new feature today.

In a video shared on Facebook, it was announced that the feature, SELangkah Wallet, can now be used once the app is updated.

“Start using SELangkah Wallet to enjoy the benefits of online payments and more,” the video said.

It also took about a minute to show viewers the different steps needed to activate the e-wallet.

All SELangkah users will be required to key in their personal details and provide identification for access.

Once this is done, users can pay for their purchases by a quick scan of a QR code, as well as top-up their SELangkah e-wallet or mobile phone’s credit, make money transactions, and pay bills online.

On February 9, SELangkah ambassador Adibah Noor said the app would soon feature e-commerce functions to help its users ease into a digital lifestyle.

She said another feature, SELangkah Biz, will also be introduced to allow entrepreneurs to receive quick payments from any e-wallet platform.

Also to be introduced is SELangkah Pay, another feature that will make cashless payments a new norm for its users.
