SHAH ALAM, Oct 9 — All state representatives are involved in the preparation for 2022 Selangor Budget, says the Menteri Besar.
Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said this year’s townhall sessions for budget preparation are different as it is done separately using various approaches and methods.
“Today, it is specifically with the state assemblymen to give them an outlook on the budget. They are going to give their proposals and thus need to know the state government’s current situation and actual allocation.
“The participation from the state assemblymen allows them to fully understand the ongoing situation and subsequently give their proposals,” he said when met at the 2022 Selangor Budget townhall session here yesterday.
Also present at the event was Selangor State Secretary Datuk Nor Azmie Diron.
Amirudin said he will also hold a meeting with the opposition’s representatives soon.
“The main objective for the meeting is to discuss on the tabling of the budget,” he said.
