SHAH ALAM, Sept 13 — The state’s e-commerce platform, Platform Selangor (Plats), that was introduced a year ago has helped 4,085 entrepreneurs place and sell their wares online, said the Selangor Menteri Besar.
Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the initiative, which was the brainchild of Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated), is also the go-to for all state-sponsored welfare applications.
“Plats has placed 4,085 entrepreneurs on the digital platform so that they have better customer reach. These entrepreneurs will also receive other state-sponsored help.
“Plats is also the place to apply for Grab ride rebates to vaccination centres (PPVs), rebates for the Selangor Internet Data scheme and rebates for the Go Digital payment scheme,” Amirudin said on his Facebook page today.
He urged the people of Selangor, especially small-time traders, to visit the website www.platselangor.com to see what is on offer for them.
Plats was introduced last Ramadan as a digital tool that could help the state realise its SMART vision.
On April 11, Plats 2.0 was launched to allow entrepreneurs to sell their wares online all year round and not confined to just the Ramadan season.
