SHAH ALAM, Jan 6 — The public can start redeeming their Selangor tourism vouchers worth RM200 each starting this Friday.
State executive councillor for local government Ng Sze Han urged the people (nationwide) to grab the opportunity and explore various places of attraction in Selangor.
“Jom, Nak Bercuti? Pusing Selangor Dulu!’ (Eager to travel? Explore Selangor first!) The state government offers RM200 tourism vouchers. Redeem it now and explore interesting and unique holiday destinations in this state,” Ng wrote on his Facebook page.
The voucher can be redeemed using the Lazada e-wallet and Touch N’ Go platforms.
On December 18, Selangor launched the Tourism Voucher Subsidy Redemption programme valued at RM200 each beginning from January 8 to 31 this year.
The Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said a total of 7,000 vouchers can be redeemed for use at hotel and licenced homestay accommodation as well as for theme park visits in the state.
