SHAH ALAM, Jan 3 — Child care centre operators are reminded to plan their activities according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and to reduce any sharing of toys and food among the children.

Selangor Nurseries Association chairman Mahanom Basri said the measure would contain the risk of the Covid-19 disease spreading among the children.

“Other than recording their attendance and body temperature as well as wearing the face masks, child care centre operators must also ensure that every part of the premises and toys are disinfected.

“At the same time, the environment of the centres must be clean, safe and bright at all times, so that the children can be kept enlightened,” Mahanom Basri told SelangorKini today.

According to her, the cooperation from parents are also needed especially in educating their children about the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Parents must always remind their child about the danger of the pandemic so that they would understand.

“Ensure the condition of their child is good before sending them to the child care centres and sign the declaration form to safeguard their health,” she said.
