SHAH ALAM, Dec 3 — Users can download the Citizen E-Payment Platform (CEPaT) version 2.0 cashless application, which provides various services beginning this month.

Smart Selangor Delivery Unit (SSDU) managing director Dr Fahmi Ngah said the latest version includes license applications, utility bill payments as well as prepaid card top-up.

He said it is also equipped with Tap2Ride to make it easier for foreigners to make payments when using the Smart Selangor Bus.

"Efforts to improve the application is in line with the aim to ensure the state government’s payment services are available on this platform by 2022," he said, adding that the application is used by eight local authorities (PBT).

CEpat was introduced on August 21, 2019, and uses cloud-based technology to ensure it is easily accessible to users.

The application, which can be downloaded through Google Playstore and Apple App Store, also provide services to pay compounds and parking.
