SHAH ALAM, Oct 9 — Shah Alam district police headquarters (IPD) starts implementing roadblocks in Kampung Bukit Naga following enforcement of the targeted conditional movement control order (CMCO) in the Klang sub-district (mukim).

Shah Alam district police chief Assistant Commissioner Baharudin Mat Taib said the 24-hour roadblocks were set up along the road at the borders linking Klang and Shah Alam that comes under Taman Sri Muda police station jurisdiction.

“The location of the Kampung Bukit Naga roadblocks is at Lot 6012, Lorong Takiah, Batu 6, Kampung Bukit Naga, Section 32, Shah Alam,” said Baharudin in a statement today.

He said the public who wishes to enter or exit Bukit Tinggi areas (Bayu Perdana, Flat Sri Angkasa, Apartment Vista Bayu, Bayu Villa and Taman Sri Andalas) are advised to get approval letter at the mobile police station that they have set up.

He said the police's mobile patrol vehicle (MPV) and motorcycle patrol unit (URB) will conduct regular patrols to ensure smooth flow of operation between both districts.

“So far there is no need to get an approval letter or special permit to enter or exit into any areas in Klang district (but this is subjected to changes),” he said.

The targeted conditional movement control order (CMCO) to curb the spread of Covid-19 in Klang sub-district (mukim) was enforced due to the rise of coronavirus cases in the area, the lockdown starts today until October 23.
