SHAH ALAM, Sept 22 — The Belanjawan Selangor 2021 (2021 Selangor Budget) Logo Design Contest, which was supposed to end yesterday (September 21), has now been extended to Friday (September 25) due to overwhelming response.
Those who are interested to join the contest can do so via this website www.amirudinshari.com/selangor2021-pertandingan.
On September 3, the state government called for aspiring local graphic designers to showcase their creativity by joining the contest to create the logo for the upcoming state budget.
Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the contest reflects the state government’s principle in being inclusive and encouraging public participation, especially the creative minds, to come up with the best art for the 2021 Selangor Budget in the form of a visualised logo.
Winner of the competition stands a chance to bring home a MacBook Pro 13” laptop, while the second runner up will win an iPad Pro. The reward for third place is an iPad Gen 7.
The panel of judges includes Malaysia’s top branding experts, graphic and visual artists, while the selection criteria will be based on dynamic and contemporary concept, in line with the objectives of the upcoming state budget.
The 2021 Selangor Budget will be tabled at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly on October 30 from 3pm to 5pm.
