SHAH ALAM, June 9 — Selangor has yesterday recorded a single-digit in daily Covid-19 cases with three in number, after seeing double-digits for two consecutive days, says the state Covid-19 operation centre.
On Sunday, 12 cases were recorded and 14 on Saturday.
“Two close contact cases were recorded in Sepang while another one patient was an imported case from India,” said the operation centre.
The total accumulated figure reported in Selangor is 1,968 with 219 active Covid-19 cases. Hulu Langat and Sepang, which are both a red zone, registered 91 and 68 active cases respectively.
A total of 1,624 patients have fully recovered in the state and the death toll stands at 23.
Malaysia had yesterday registered seven new cases, which is the lowest number of daily Covid-19 figure since March 12, before the movement control order (MCO) was enforced.
