KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 — e-Payment solutions provider, Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd (TNG), will be selling its Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) self-fitment kit on e-commerce sites, Lazada and Shopee, for RM35 starting tomorrow.
TNG RFID is an electronic payment system that allows its users to pass through expressway and highway tolls.
In a statement today, TNG said the development of the TNG RFID self-fitment kit was grounded by a do-it-yourself (DIY) intention to provide greater safety and convenience for all road users.
The kit will come with a fitment guide for users to fit and activate the product at their own convenience.
“Safety is our priority. We have introduced a DIY kit to bring further convenience as we understand that people will want to move safer in the comfort of their cars," chief executive officer Syahrunizam Samsudin said.
“As the world and Malaysia embark on a new feeling of normalcy, TNG RFID is critical to building a lifestyle surrounding contactless convenience to ensure faster, smoother, and safer travel for all road users”, he added.
The TNG RFID tag fitment process will require users to scan the quick response (QR) code on the self-fitment kit for a virtual fitment video or follow the step-by-step fitment illustrated on the package itself.
