KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 — The Economic Action Council (EAC) has appointed two new members, renowned banking figure Datuk Bridget Lai @ Bridget Anne Chin Hung Yee from Sabah and Sarawak Chamber of Bumiputera Entrepreneurs chairman, Datu Abang Halmi Ikhwan in a meeting today.

Following the appointments, the EAC now comprises 13 members, said the Prime Minister’s Office in a statement today.

To ease the burden on tenants, owners of private business premises have been urged to consider providing rental discounts, moratorium or exemptions to business owners who are unable to operate.
