KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 — The following are the replies by the relevant agencies to the fake news circulated on the social media in a media statement from the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia’s Quick Response Team yesterday.

  • Tourism, Art and Culture Ministry (MOTAC) has denied asking parties to obtain personal information of art activists and industry players for aid purposes.
  • The Perak Menteri Besar's office has denied allegations that Hilir Perak district is under curfew.
  • Tuanku Fauziah Hospital in Kangar denied allegations on the usage of oral thermometers for patients or those suspected of Covid-19.
  • The National Security Council has denied news categorising certain areas as red and yellow zones during the movement control order (MCO).
  • The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MOA) has denied allegations that the country's rice stock can last for only two and a half months. It guarantees that the current rice stock is sufficient and advised the public not to be worried.
