UNISEL Gives State Assemblymen Access to Library for Research Purposes

SHAH ALAM - The University of Selangor (UNISEL) will provide space for assistants and investigators of the State Assemblymen (ADN) to use its library for reading and research purposes.

UNISEL vice-chancellor, Prof Dato' Dr Mohammad Redzuan Othman said the facilities available at the university's library could be used to provide added value to researchers.

"I see with the cooperation with the Selangor State Assembly (DNS) Speaker, the researchers do not have to go anywhere else to get the necessary information," he said.

"This partnership will give added value to elected representatives and utilize UNISEL as their source of resources."

He said this when met at the Effective DNS Research Workshop, in the State Movement Room, here.

Dr Mohammad Redzuan said that through this effort, education was not only exposed but at the same time relationships with each other can be developed in order to make plans, strategies, policies and planned actions.

At the programme, he and DNS Manager, Ng Suee Lim officiated the workshop to further strengthen the function and role of the elected representatives.

There are over 44 ADN assistants and researchers across the country including oppositions who has joined the workshop.
